Banner - DfE Apply for Academics

The aim of this session is to provide academic staff involved in the admissions process within ITE with an overview of the DfE Apply system and associated processes which will be replacing UCAS and ARC in October 2021 for Initial Teacher Training Applicants only.

This session will be run via Teams. You will be booked on the course but will receive a Teams meeting invite directly from the trainer for the actual session.

Learning outcomes

This session equips you with the tools, knowledge and skills to:

Know how to log in, search and navigate the site
Be able to view applications online and download them as a pdf
Understand the changes, reasons why and their expected outcomes/impact
Know how the interview, offer, rejection, deferral and withdrawal processes organised by admin will appear to you in the system.
Understand what the changes to processes will be and how that will affect you.
Find resources and know what support is available
