Banner - Maintaining Personal Information

The aim of this interactive session is to provide Faculty and Registry staff involved in the Student lifecycle with the required skills to update students' personal records.

Pre-requisite course

You will need to have completed Banner - Basics.

Learning outcomes

This interactive session equips you with the tools, knowledge and skills to:

  • Understand the importance of keeping student data up to date and correct
  • View and amend students personal information, including addresses, telephone number and next of kin
  • Change academic advisors during and across academic years
  • Enter attendance records for groups and individual students
  • Update HESA information in accordance with university deadlines
